Beale Street Entertainment District, the Home of the Blues in downtown Memphis, wanted to secure this downtown pedestrian area from vehicular traffic. They partnered with Concentric Security, LLC and Heald Ltd to develop a vehicle mitigation solution to meet their security needs and preserve the district’s atmosphere for their guests.

With underground utilities providing a challenge, the Matador 6 bollard arrays were the ideal solution to securing this popular tourist destination with the crash rated shallow mount foundation. Preserving the surrounding look and feel of this popular tourist destination was also important. The Matadors are customizable and were given bollard covers to blend in with the look of the street lights.
