Beale Street Entertainment District

Beale Street Entertainment District required open access to vehicles during the day and closed nights and weekends for pedestrian only access. There are two vehicle mitigation solutions required. The first one had to deal with underground encumbrances, be able to prevent vehicle access when closed and slow traffic when barrier is open. Matador bollard arrays were chosen because of the shallow foundation depth and the ability to provide a rated system when closed and a speed bump to slow traffic when open. The second solution required a temporary option that could be easily moved when needed. Modular Vehicle Barriers allow easy temporary barriers that can be moved as needed and stored away when not needed.
